Advisor Profile

Steve supports clients across the Southeast region and works closely with Choreo's Charlotte-based advisor team of 20+ professionals. In his current role, Steve leads market development and relationship management initiatives across Louisville, Lexington, and the surrounding areas. He is responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with clients and centers of influence, supporting business development initiatives, and providing subject matter expertise on business succession planning and M&A opportunities as they arise. 

Steve brings years of experience in tax, assurance, and advisory services, with a deep background in ownership transition, governance, tax planning, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, business valuation and strategic consulting. Prior to joining Choreo, Steve served as a Transaction Advisory Services Partner at Cherry Bekaert, where he supported closely held businesses across the industrial, distribution, professional services, real estate, and hospitality sectors - primarily within the firm's Central Market region. 

Throughout his career, Steve has held numerous leadership roles within public accounting as well as professional and community organizations. He has served as a board member for PrimeGlobal, an international association of independent accounting and consulting firms, among other leadership and advisory roles.
