He began his career with Ernst & Young before moving into senior financial leadership roles, including serving as Chief Financial Officer for growth companies navigating expansion and public-company transactions. Since 1993, he has worked closely with entrepreneurs guiding them through capital strategy, liquidity events, and long-term planning.

Throughout his career, Dean has served as corporate CFO and trusted financial advisor to entrepreneurs facing sophisticated planning challenges. His advisory approach focuses on preserving wealth, managing tax exposure, protecting assets, preparing heirs, and aligning charitable intent with overall strategy.

He is a founder of the Advisory Board for the Orange County Business Forum at the University of Southern California and a past president of the Orange County chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Dean’s counsel reflects the discretion, judgment, and long-range discipline required by high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families stewarding wealth across generations.
